‘Emgee’s’ Vegetarian Restaurant, Bangalore

Their tagline is “veggie, veggie, healthy”. This restaurant deserves a mention because it is one of the oldest vegetarian restaurants situated in a historical locality of Bangalore city. The restaurant is called Emgee’s and is located in the premises of The Shelton Grand on MG Road. The menu is essentially North Indian, South Indian, and fast-food Chinese. There is a separate counter for fresh fruit juice as well. It is not difficult to find decent Vegan options in the menu; and what is best is that the staff willingly obliges if you request them to cut out the dairy even from the dishes where they include it. For example upon requesting, we got our hara-bhara kebab served to us minus the paneer (cottage cheese), something that they otherwise include in this dish.
